WEBSITE REDESIGN

In 2015, Sheraton underwent a radical transformation. They wanted to elevate their brand, and provide guests with innovative, enriching and unexpected travel experiences.

The Concept

We were tasked with implementing a new design and site architecture throughout the Starwood portfolio of hotels. This would allow the business to keep a tight grip on precision and development efficiency, while allowing the personality and uniqueness of their individual brands to shine through.

We took this opportunity to create a new responsive modular design for Sheraton, with rich content and beautiful photography to produce a digital experience that captured the brands new persona.

Content Module #01

This module was created to capture a main category (hero image) with many sub-categories (horizontal images). The sub-modules can display as little as two images, or as many as four, with the ability to dive deeper into unique programs and offerings.

Sheraton, one of Starwood’s most popular hotel chains, adopted the consumer-facing theme,“Brand Transformation.” This new theme meant that everything from the brand’s marketing collateral to the website to the interior design of the hotel itself went through a complete makeover.

Content Module #02

This second module was created to be the main content area, with one common headline, as well as other individual content areas, that allowed the user to click through, in order to discover information and details about programs and hotel offerings.

For this module, Sheraton chose to display “Cocktails” and “Dining. While the layout features each theme individually, it visually represents how these two features go together.

Social Media Module

The social media module was created with flexibility in mind. Starwood’s brands were given the ability to display up to four social media modules, including Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

The area can display both images and/or content in each area, providing Sheraton with up to sixteen different layout combinations in one module.

The About Hub

The “About” Hub displays modules with or without content or calls-to-action. This design offers each brand unlimited possibilities when showcasing their unique features and programs.

The Hub

The cadence of the modules visually leads the user down the page and allows them to view all features that make Sheraton unique, with the ability to dive deeper into specific content.
